Early in October I had a telephone call from British Gas asking if I had cavity wall insulation and my answer was no. I was then offered a free survey and if I accepted I would be sent two energy monitoring devices even if I did not have any work done after having the survey. One device was for monitoring individual items and the other clips on to my incoming mains cable and the display unit is remote from it to allow monitoring to be displayed in a living room etc.
On Friday 20th November the cavity wall insulation is being done.
The two energy monitoring devices were promised to arrive within a ‘couple of weeks’. The local Post Office tell me the backlog from the strikes is cleared. I am still waiting and somewhat disappointed at having to write to you, so when can I expect your promise to be honoured?
