Hello. BT’s offer of Linesaver is good. But why is it not available to existing Anytime callplan users? Ta.
Another example of a total lack of appreciation of existing customer loyalty!!!
No loyalty to existing customers. Letter received from BT is totally misleading …. not available to existing customers!!
Why not give the information contained on your web site?
Why send me a letter with my account number listed if LineSaver is not available to existing customers.
As others have said why send me a letter and then barr me from joining. as a shareholder its a waste of money.
A letter has arrived and as an existing customer, for many many year,s I cannot take advantage of it. BT marketing needs to learn what marketing is all about. I will now change from BT!
another example of big buisness getting away with murder
another example of big buisness ripping the public off
This new offer is no use to existing customers, so why send details of it to us ??? Why should new customers get this benefit and not those of us who have been loyal for 40 years ?
Would have thought my account number would tell that i am an existing customer. Why sent the offer?
how much did it cost to send all that paperwork wen you could knock money of peoples bills
This is typical of inefficient business practice i.e. sending the letter to existing customers. Also typical of not rewarding existing ‘loyal’ customers.
Cannot comply with this as it doesn’t effect existing customers.
will now be considering leaving BT,meeting with some other customer,s all of same opinion.BT seems not to care for customer loyalty.
i agree with other comments it has finally made my mind up about leaving bt as i already
subcribe to sky i might as take up there better
offer as bt do not have any loyalty to there
customers, why should i.
why send me a product offer if it is no good to an existing customer which i am. i shall be considering leaving bt when my contract expires both broadband and calls etc.
What a pity that BT have not opened this ‘Line Saver’ offer to existing customers - a chance has been lost to keep customers loyal - instead many are angered & may be lost to BT as they switch elsewhere to where they may be appreciated. Who thought up this marketing strategy? Was it one of BT’s opponents?
Do I need to make further comment? Surely your
life/saver is your existing customers. Loyalty
should come first.
Even though I have often refused to switch to another line rental provider and am prepared to pay my line rental for a year up front I cannot take advantage of BT Line Saver beacuse I am an existing customer - typical BT - stab loyal customers in the back - perhaps in future I will listen to what other line rental providers have to offer …… if BT can do it for new customers why not for existing customers ??? Just a cheap marketing ploy ……
Why send mail to existing customers about saving costs on line rental when it does not apply. What a waste of time and paper. When do long term customers receive any benefits for being loyal
Iagree with other comments ,why waste money sending out this information which is not available to existing customers. I have been a loyal customer for many years, time for a change I think
How wrong can a company be when offering discounts to new customers it rubs the noses of its existing customers in the mud by sending out a pamphlet which more or less says “see what you can get if you LEAVE BT.
It seems BT no longer wants my custom and is happy to see me go and SAVE, not with BT, BUT WITH ITS COMPETITORS.
What kind of marketing strategy is that?
James Galt
Just received your very misleading letter. We recently considered leaving BT but have signed up for a further 12 months - had move! Customer loyalty stands for nothing.
B T == Bent Traders. After 55 years, Thanks BT
Hello SKY!!
The letter offering me a discount on line rental is simply fraud. The offer is dishonest.
You should now offer the discount to all clients.
Thanks a lot BT,47+ yrs loyalty to you obviously means nothing, seriously considering leaving!!
BT treats its loyal customers like something left on the pavement by a dog! Why not give loyal customers who pay up front and as regular as clockwork something back like a decent discount on line rental.
I received your letter which IS TOTALLY misleading. Why do you do this??????? Loyal customers NEED NOT apply but it takes some deciphering. THANK you BT for wasting my time AGAIN!!!!!!!!
Just checked on the linesaver website, as recommended - to save money and, though the letter is addressed to me, complete with account number, in the fist few lines, I discover that this “offer” does not apply to existing customers - as with broadband “offers” - I have no choice but to continue with you as my contract is for 18 months!! but, after that I shall be looking elsewher, perhaps where loyalty is rewarded and customers are appreciated.
What a waste of my time and your money sending me this totally misleading “offer”.Why does the letter not make it clear that the offer does NOT apply to existing customers?
Disgusting the way you treat loyal customers(50 years),would Trading Standards call this Fair Trading? this letter not being available to loyal customers.
This is a waste of my time and the BT marketing department. Moreover it is a total insult to existing and, in our case, long standing BT customers.
Just discovered that I’m unable to subscribe to yearly plan and shocked at being misled by BT letter. Why was it sent to ineligible customers?
Thanks for nothing. No loyalty to existing customers noted. Why send me a letter highlighting the fact that I am not considered worth cultivatiing? No incentive to stay with bt, will change provider at first opportunity. Suggest you sack your pr man or woman.
Where is your apology BT for this outrageous waste of money and humiliation of loyal customers.
Where is your apology BT for this outrageous waste of money and humiliation of loyal customers?
I echo all of the above why send letter to existing customer does the left hand not know what the right is doing very incompetent!
Thanks for nothing. You have completely wasted my valuable time
Just another example of the lack of respect from BT for it’s loyal customers. Rip off Britain at its best !! Time to leave to somebody else !!!!
From the BT Customer replies regarding the total lack of consideration and respect for customers by BT Senior Management we are simpy a milch cow. Even the Dividends on BT shares are abysmal.
Thanks for nothing BT. This might just be one of the dirty tricks that tips loyal customers over to dumping you
Have just perused all listed comments and agree 100 per cent with them all. I cannot believe that this company’s management, in view of complaints for almost a year now, have not allowed existing customers this Line Saver facility. Get your act together !
When my contract expires I shall be moving on. I will not deal with shysters.
Why does my postcode not tally with my phone number? This is the only organisation where this is a problem
bt engineer for 30 years, bt customer for 35 years, benefits nil
More than misleading the BT update circular is just plain wrong
What a waste of time. Did not realise that this BT Promotions was for new customers only. It does not say so !?? Had intended ordering a free you view box but will now rethink
