    Just to let everyone know that Michael Parkinson advert in newspapers and on the TV advert offers an extra £25 gift voucher when you buy the guaranteed over 50 plan online and you still get to choose a free joining gift like a HD TV, camcorder, gift vouchers or satnav or many other gifts to choose from. The new guaranteed over 50 plan special offers have been seen in the papers today. I went for the HD Ready TV as mine old one packed up and I didn’t want to fill out any health questions or have a medical with my doctor so Sun Life 50 plan offers best plan for me to pay funeral expenses and leave a lump sum to children and grandchildren.

    Is this the same over 50 life insurance from Sun Life Direct which I have seen advertised on TV which Michael Parkinson recommends? I have been reviewing my life assurance and being over 50 years old I thought I needed to make provision for funeral cover to protect my family and pay for funeral expenses and leave a cash lump sum to my family as well. I reviewed Sun Life Direct over 50 life assurance which I saw at sunlifedirect.co.uk and believe that paying a few pounds a month for life cover is good value for money and the free gift and free gift voucher special offer make this a no brainer for me. Does the premium change during the term or is it whole of life cover protection and if so are there no medical questions and no medical exam from my doctor or do I need to have a medical examination through a private GP or doctor of Sun Life Direct? I would prefer to only answer basic health questions and then pay by direct debit or standing order for the premiums if possible? If I apply for over 50s life insurance online do I do this through Sun Life Direct at, sunlifedirect.co.uk 50 plan or do I need to call them direct for instant cover and guaranteed acceptance? I have a couple of friends who recommended me over 50 life assurance that they have applied for online through the Post Office and through LV.com/50plus or LV.com/over50 i think it might have been.     I have recently applied to buy over 50 life insurance online from sunlife.co.uk/over50plan and can confirm that you are guaranteed to be accepted as long as you are aged 50 - 85 and even better news is that there are no medical questions or health questions and best of all no medical required. I tried to find the cheapest premium for over 50 life assurance cover at Over50plan.com, and even after watching the sun life over 50 plan television adverts featuring a certain Mr Michael Parkinson and sought this website at Over50plan.tv advert and at, sunlife.co.uk/over50plan Free TV offer or you can request £60 Marks and Spencer voucher when you buy over 50 life insurance online SunLife Over50plan. I even tried searching for Sunlife50plan.com but found that the correct website address is Sunlifedirect.co.uk/50plan. I hope this helps other old age pensioners find a cheap funeral expenses policy or low cost life cover for the elderly aged between 50 and 85.     I have seen a similar aged over 50 to 75 plan called the Mirror Over 50s Guaranteed Protection Plan provided by Scottish Friendly Assurance including a free Papermate Pen when requesting information and from just £8 per month. Saw this at Scottishfriendly.co.uk/mirror offer in Daily Mirror newspaper. You need to quote PMRAD when applying online and best of all there are no health questions and no medical examination or medical report from a GP / Doctor is required.Known as over 50’s life cover with a guaranteed cash sum on death after 2 years contributions / premiums made. See Scottishfriendly.co.uk/mirror special offer online. This is an alternative to Sun Life Over 50 Plan special offer online, although Sun Life over 50 plan offers lower monthly premiums from only £6 a month which is better in my opinion after I reviewed both deals online.

    I think that the 50 Plus plan from LV= is a better choice than the Sun Life plan, because with LV you only have to wait 12 months for full cover whatever the cause of death. With Sun Life the waiting period is 2 years. LV.com/50plus plan
